Tri-series after Windies Tests

KARACHI, Jan 27: Tri-series involving Pakistan, West Indies and Zimbabwe will be held after two Test match series against the Caribbeans in December, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar M.Khan said on Friday.

Talking to reporters at National Stadium, he said after cancellation of the two Test match series against Zimbabwe fresh programme is being prepared.

“It’s impossible to stage Asia Cup in September 2006. We had already told ACC members that we will hold the Asia Cup in 2007,” he maintained.

He said Pakistan team will have a hectic schedule till the 2007 World Cup in West Indies.—APP
