Four of a family killed

ABBOTTABAD, Jan 27: Gunmen on Thursday night shot dead a man, his wife and two children in the Phulgaran village in the Bakot union council area in the Galyat. Victims were identified as Abdul Lateef, his wife Fareez Jan, 11-year-old daughter Sania Lateef and eight-year-old son Basit Lateef. Relatives of the deceased said that they had no enmity with anyone. According to eyewitness, a pistol was also found near the bodies. Motives behind the killings could not be ascertained. The Bakot police have registered a case.
