QUETTA: Students of the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University staged a protest rally inside the university premises on Monday against the administration’s failure to obtain NoC for the pharmacy department from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), despite giving admissions to 250 students who are now in the eighth semester.

Around 250 female students of the pharmacy department came out of their classes and participated in the protest.

They marched inside the university, carrying placards inscribed with their demands and chanted slogans against the administration.

The protesting students said that 8th semester was in progress in the pharmacy department, but the NoC had not been issued to the department.
