PTI leader Hammad Azhar has termed allegations regarding his involvement in organising the violent protests in the country on May 9 a “stack of lies” and asked authorities to prove that he was involved.

In a tweet, he shared a collage of news tickers that alleged he was one of the six top PTI leaders who remained in touch with miscreants.

“A stack of lies. Prove that I have called even a single person regarding May 9, before or during that date,” he said.

“Only gave the call to [gather at] Liberty [Chowk] and that too only on Twitter because I was in Ghakkar town when [Imran] Khan sahib was arrested,” he added.
