ISLAMABAD: Robbers looted a former additional attorney general and journalist on Orchid Road on Saturday, police said.

Three people came on a motorcycle and intercepted a car in which former additional attorney general Tariq Khokhar, journalist Hasnat Malik and Tahir Malik, brother of the Nadra chairman were travelling.

They held them at gunpoint and asked them to hand over cash and valuables, they said, adding that later they looted two mobile phones and Rs85,000 cash from them and escaped, they added.

The matter was brought into the knowledge of the senior command of the police and an FIR was being registered, the police said.
