ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: Oman and Qatar have expressed their desire to participate in the reconstruction of the earthquake-hit areas of Pakistan. A high-level delegation from Muscat would visit Pakistan in the first week of February while a delegation from Qatar would soon come to finalize details of the reconstruction plans with the authorities concerned.

This was stated by Ambassador of Muscat in Pakistan Mr. M. Saeed Al Lawati and Ambassador of Qatar Mr. Hamad Ali Hinzab during their separate meetings with the Chairman Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (Erra) Lt-Gen Muhammad Zubair.

The Ambassador of Qatar said his country was particularly interested in the sectors of health and education.
