Two injured on road in Shangla

SHANGLA: Two persons were injured when a van fell into a ravine in Kuzkana area of Kana tehsil here on Saturday morning.

A Rescue 1122 official said the van was heading to Shahpur from Karoran, and met the accident due to bad condition of the road in Burshat area.

He said two persons were injured, who were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Alpuri, after being provided first aid on the spot.

Meanwhile, assistant commissioner, Puran, Ihsanullah Khan Afridi on Saturday booked two butchers and sealed their shops for fleecing the customers.

Mr Afridi also imposed fines on several shopkeepers in Aloch and Nemkaly bazaars for profiteering. He also sealed a bakery for selling substandard food items.

The assistant commissioner warned the shopkeepers to avoid violating the government determined price list and not to sell expired items to customers.

Meanwhile, Puran assistant commissioner Ihsanullah Khan Afridi sent two butchers behind bars for profiteering.
