[Meanwhile, our Special Representative adds from Islamabad,] the United Democratic Front, in a rejoinder to President Bhutto’s aide memoire of April 4, today [April 9] said the Opposition members of the National Assembly had boycotted the Constitution-making because they wanted “a parliamentary form of Government and not the Prime Minister’s dictatorship”.

The 30-page rejoinder, released by the Front’s President, Pir Pagaro, said the Opposition parties had failed in their efforts to get for the country an acceptable permanent Constitution “because one man stands in the way of the people, their rights and a proper Constitution”.
