Five picked up in murder case

HYDERABAD, Jan 14: The New Saeedabad police have apprehended five of the eight nominated accused in the wake of triple murder of Rahu clansmen on January 10 in Bakhar Jamali area. A case was lodged on the complaint of Habibullah, the son of deceased Azizullah Rahu. He had nominated eight people Hussain Bux, Wazeer, Manthar, Shahmir, Meer, Ali Nawaz, Hadi Bux and Mohammad Juman while four others remained unidentified. Five of them have been apprehended by the police in separate raids.

Five Rahu tribesmen were kidnapped at the farm of Mushtaq Ahmed Rahu, adviser to the Sindh chief minister and later three of them were shot dead in Matiari district. The deceased included Azizullah Rahu, his son Sanaullah and Dost Ali.—BoC
