Clarification

Apropos a story headlined ‘NAB team in Dubai to collect Toshakhana gifts evidence’, published in Dawn on Mar 9, Umar Farooq Zahoor’s lawyer has clarified that his client was called up by NAB Islamabad on the instructions of Mr Aftab Sultan.

In addition, Mr Zahoor’s lawyer stated that international red warrants agai­nst his client had been dro­p­ped and that he is not wanted in Switzerland and Turkiye.

The lawyer also stated that the NAB team retur­n­ed to Pakistan “after full cooperation from our client”.
