SHINKIARI, Jan 13: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that government was utilizing all its resources to ensure complete rehabilitation of quake victims and relief operation would continue till the objective was achieved. Speaking to quake survivors during a visit to a tent village in District Mansehra on Eid day, the minister told them that they were not alone in this testing time.

The government and the nation share the sufferings of the affected people and stand united with them, he said, adding that the time of trial would end shortly and they would restart their life with new zeal and enthusiasm.

Both President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz felt deeply about the tribulations of the affected people and were trying hard to mitigate their problems, Sheikh Rashid said.

He lauded the role played by various NGOs, volunteers and philanthropists in this difficult time.—APP
