14 injured pilgrims discharged

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13: Some 14 Pakistani pilgrims who had suffered injuries in Thursday’s deadly stampede in Mina have been discharged from different hospitals, officials said on Friday. The Haj directorate identified 11 of the 14 pilgrims who were hospitalized and then released in a press statement. It released the following names and information:

Rawalpindi residents: 55-year-old Nazir Ahmed (Passport No. 759785*2, Grp No. 2126, Maktab No, Private, Building No, Labbaik Services); 53-year-old Muhammad Ijaz Khan (Passport No. 559531*7, Grp No. 10178, Maktab No. 12 and Building No. 8213).

Karachi West residents: 38-year-old Bashir Muhammad (Passport No. 170159*4, Grp No. 13920, Maktab No. 66, Building No. 5216) and 38-year-old Rehana Bashir (Passport No. 170160*3, Grp No. 13920, Maktab No. 68 and Building No. 5216).

Darya Khan Tehsil (Bhakkar) resident: 72-year-old Ghulam Fatima (Passport No. 761061*7, Grp No. 2103, Maktab No. Private and Building No. Al-Haq Tours).

Mirpur, AJK resident: 45-year-old Zahida Begum (Passport No., 267148*7, Grp No. 8865, Maktab No. 9 and Building No. 7220).

Gujrat resident: 63-year-old Said Begum(Passport No. 278806*4, Grp No. not known yet, Maktab No. 71, Building No. 4233).

Sialkot resident: 53-year-old Surriya Javed (Passport No. 370937*7, Grp No. not known yet, Maktab No. 71 and Building No. 4231).

Three more injured men and women were admitted to Pakistan Hospital, Makkah. They were Abdul Ghafoor, son of Dost Muhammad (Passport no. 118553); Saeeda Begum wife of Arab Khan (Passport no. 729812-1)and Gulshan Ara, wife of Saifullah Khan (Passport no. 708207-4). —APP
