SIBA affairs

THE Sukkur IBA testing service (SIBA) is one of the major platforms to qualify for the youths of Sindh in order to gain their desired jobs after passing tests conducted for different cadre. But, unfortunately, the testing service has become controversial in the last few months as tests are held with delays and the final results are often not uploaded on the web portal.

Recently, on the instructions of the Sindh High Court (SHC), the testing service conducted test for General Administration and Coordination in Sindh government for grade 5-15 in the graduation category. Instead of announcing the results on the portal, newer positions are being advertised, which is injustice to the aspirants.

Millions of rupees are collected in the form of challans from various candidates against various categories, but the results are not announced on time. The youths of the province have not only spent their hard-earned money on applying for jobs, they have also become overage owing to waiting for these jobs and are still waiting for result of the test in the hope of getting employed. The SHC should also have instructed the administration to give relaxation in age limit.

Besides, candidates for intermediate and matriculation categories are still waiting for the tests to be conducted. Most such candidates are once again in doubt about whether or not the test will actually be taken. Will their studies and preparation be fruitful or once again it will be only a way of earning money in the shape of collecting fee challans worth millions?
