KARACHI: A joint intelligence-based counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea resulted in seizure of narcotics worth Rs3 billion, Pakistan Navy said on Tuesday. It said that the navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Anti-Narcotics Force took part in the operation.

Without disclosing the weight of the seized drugs and number of people arrested, the statement said that the “smugglers and confiscated cache” had been handed over to the ANF for further legal proceedings.
