QUETTA: Police officials in the Nasirabad division have rounded up 53 people and seized illegal arms and ammunition in several raids and snap-checking as part of a campaign.

The police said the arrested people included proclaimed offenders, highway robbers, motorcycle snatchers, murderers, attempt-to-murder suspects and those allegedly involved in other crimes.

Some of the arrested included Khadim Domki, Muhammad Ramazan, Rashid Dharpali, Muhammad Ali Rind and several others, who were involved in cases of murders, attempt-to-murder, motorcycle snatching, drug business, etc., senior police officer Gulab Khan Sheikh said.
