LAHORE: The screening of film Super Punjabi, a joint venture of comedian Iftakhar Thakur and senior film producer Safdar Malik, has been delayed owing to PSL matches.

In a media talk at Alhamra Art Center on Saturday, Thakur and Malik said the new date for the launch, scheduled earlier for March 3, would be announced in a week.

They also shared plan for another film, Jinahy Lahore nahi Wakhiya, which would also have cast from across the border.

Iftakhar Thakur saif the Super Punjabi would be screened world over, wherever Punjabi was spoken and understood.

The film has been written and directed by Ali Alliah and the cast includes Mohsin Abbas, Saima Baloch, Saleem Albela and Reham Mariyam.
