TAXILA: The Wah Cantonment police on Saturday nabbed a man who had allegedly killed a man over a property dispute one week ago.

Subdivisional Police Officer Taxila circle DSP Mian Afzaal Shah told newsmen that the main suspect identified as Sanaullah along with his accomplices had shot dead Safdar over a property dispute and fled.

Meanwhile, four persons were arrested for allegedly abducting and keeping a woman and her son in illegal confinement in Pind Sultani area in the limits of Pindigheb police on Saturday.

Mohammad Naveed reported to the police that his brother Mohammad Shoukat and mother were abducted by Mohammad Ijaz along with Tariq Khan, Missri Khan and Ghulam Qadir from their house and kept them in illegal confinement over an old dispute. Police arrested the nominated suspects and launched an investigation.

Four injured by pet monkey

Four persons including two boys were injured when a pet monkey attached them in Dandiwali Chungi in Pindigheb on Saturday.

Hospital and police sources said the monkey had fled from a house two days ago. On Saturday, it appeared in the area and attacked four persons and injured them. The injured were shifted to the tehsil headquarters hospital.
