ISLAMABAD: Chairman Ali Medical Center (AMC) Ali Raza Alvie was laid to rest on Saturday. He was 51.

According to family friend Ali Zeb, Mr Raza had a heart attack on Tuesday (Jan 24) and remained under treatment at AMC.

“Later he was shifted to Kulsum International Hospital where a stent was implanted. Mr Raza initially started recovering but then suddenly his condition started deteriorating due to which he was shifted on ventilator and eventually passed away,” he said.

Mr Zeb said that Mr Raza was also President Ali Trust Pakistan. He said the burial was made at the H-11 graveyard which was attended by a large number of people.
