CEC takes notice of kidnapping

ISLAMABAD, Jan 6: Acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar on Friday took strong notice of abduction of tehsil naib nazim candidate Tasawar Hayat in Sargodha and ordered the chief secretary Punjab to submit a detail report of the incident. The acting CEC has also directed the Sargodha DCO and DPO to appear in person before him on January 7 to explain the latest position regarding the abduction.
