ISLAMABAD: A man was found murdered while a man was shot and injured during a robbery, police said on Saturday.

In the first incident a man was found murdered in the area of I-10/2, the police said, adding some passersby spotted the body and informed the police who shifted the body to hospital for pending identification and legal procedure, they said, adding that the victim was yet to be identified.

In another incident, culprits shot and injured a man during a robbery in Koral, the police said.

Two persons came on a motorcycle and intercepted Dr Adnan Kiani and asked him to hand over valuables and cash, they said, adding that but Dr Kiani cried for help, which panicked the robbers and they opened fire on him.
