KHAIRPUR, Jan 30: The district police, Khairpur, launched a drive against dacoits in the Saadh Forest on Wednesday.

A heavy contingent of police led by senior police officers encircled the hideout of dacoit, Nazroo Narejo. However, when they went inside none of the dacoits were found there.

Anyway, the police destroyed all the bunkers that were in the hideout.

It was learnt that the operation launched by the police in the Saadh Forest is one of the raids planned by the district police officer, Khairpur, Abdul Khaliq Shaikh, against dacoits’ sanctuaries.

Sources disclosed that dacoits Nazroo Narejo, Asghar Narejo, Sadhu Narejo, Dhano Shaikh, Amir Shah, and Ali Dino Kaleri had been spotted in the katcha area of the district. So the police started strict surveillance of the areas likely to be raided by dacoits.
