Two die in separate incidents

RAWALPINDI: A man was murdered in Ratta Amral area while a woman was killed in a road accident in Rawat, police said on Sunday.

Suleman Shah, a resident of Dhoke Hassu, lodged an FIR with the Ratta Amral police saying that his brother Syed Ali Hassan, who lived with his parents, left the house at night but he did not return. Later his younger brother received a phone call that Ali Hassan was lying unconscious in the street.

He said he and his brother Usman reached the spot and found their brother Ali lying on the ground.

He said the police informed them that their brother had been killed about half an hour ago by an unidentified person.

Meanwhile a woman was killed while a man was injured critically after an oil tanker hit their motorcycle near Rawat on Sunday.

The victim’s body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
