MIRPURKHAS, Jan 2: A judge of the Sindh High Court, Justice Rehmat Hussain Jafri, has stressed the need for cooperation between the bench and the bar for early disposal of cases and dispensation of justice to people.

He was talking to lawyers at the District Bar Association on Monday.

He said judges would soon be appointed in the newly-created Umerkot district. He said establishment of anti-corruption and banking courts in Mirpurkhas would be recommended to the Chief Justice.

Earlier, bar association president Ali Hassan Chandio presented problems of lawyers to Justice Jafri.

Justice Jafri also visited the district prison. He inspected the dispensary and mess of the prison and heard complaints of prisoners in different barracks.

Later, Justice Jafri visited courts of the first and second additional district and session judges and the first senior civil judge.
