Daultana’s kin slain

VEHARI, Dec 31: A relative of PML-N leader Tehmina Daultana was clubbed to death by his six employees on Friday night in Brali area. Landlord Chaudhry Shaukat Wahla was present in his outhouse when his employees, including two women, came there. They caught hold of the landlord, tied him with a rope and started beating him severely with clubs. Later, they locked him in a room in a deteriorated condition where he died of his wounds.

The family of the deceased informed the Sadar police who arrested five accused — Maqsood, Matloob, Sabir, Razia Bibi and Mehwish Bibi while Muhammad Ramzan managed to escape.

Police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating.
