KHYBER: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Landi Kotal and Torkham here the other day.

Police said that rivals exchanged gunfire in remote Wazir Kor locality of Loe Shalman over a land dispute, which resulted in the killing of one Khanzad Gul from one group on the spot. The police arrested at least two persons of Bahadar Sher group and have started investigations.

Meanwhile, a young labourer Mohammad Umar lost his life when he fell from a lift on an under-construction overhead water tank at the NLC terminal at Torkham on Friday. The deceased belonged to Nowshera. Also in the day, a teenage boy Rizwan received injuries at Torkham when he fell from a moving truck.
