Employees booked for corruption

DADU, Dec 31: Many government officials belonging to various departments were booked on corruption charges on Saturday. The Dadu Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) registered seven FIRs against eight officials including deputy director, inspector, district food controller and six ASIs of police.

Former Dadu district food controller Qutbuddin Tayabani was booked for misappropriation of Rs350,000 in the head of food grain licenses in the year 2003-04.

In another FIR, SASO deputy director Hubdar Ali Abbasi and SASO inspector Ghulam Nabi Solangi were booked on charges of misusing Rs371,500 to purchase fertilizers in 2002.

Five FIRs were registered against ASI Khuda Bux Channo of the Dadu traffic police, ASIs Shaman Mallah and Ali Nawaz Birhamani of the Rukkan police, in charge of the Makhdoom Bilawal police post Barkat Ali Lashari, in charge of the Sindhi Butra police post Ali Akbar Solangi, Moula Bux Panhwar and head constable Ahmed of the Qasbo police station for arresting innocent people and corruption.
