PTI leader Asad Umar said whoever will succeed General Qamar Javed Bajwa as the new army chief will have a “big responsibility” to steer Pakistan towards becoming the country that was envisioned by its founders.
“He (new army chief) will have this big responsibility that in an evolutionary process, how to take Pakistan to the next phase so that it is put on the path to becoming the Pakistan envisioned by Allama Iqbal and for which Quaid-i-Azam struggled,” he said.
