KARACHI, Dec 30: Founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, has directed party members elected as nazims and naib nazims, from Karachi to Sukkur, to decide every case on merit and not to discriminate between party loyalists and those belonging to other parties.

“You have been elected naib nazims of the area, so you have to serve everybody irrespective of party affiliation,” he told them during a telephonic address in Mirpurkhas on Thursday night, a day after their election which also marked the completion of local bodies electoral process.

The MQM leader stressed that common man was facing many problems and waiting for a genuine leadership to help resolve their problems.

The MQM is the party of the masses and people rightly have hope and expectations from its members, he said.

He urged the office-bearers of the party and committees constituted for various purposes to redouble their efforts for the solution of the peoples’ problems.
