GUJRAT: A man and his two daughters were discovered dead in the village of Malka in the Gulliana police in Kharian on Sunday. According to the police’s first assessment, they likely perished after drinking the toxic beverage.

Ayesha, 15, and Abiya, 11, as well as Nasir Shahzad, a man in his mid-30s, were reportedly found dead in their house. Police were alerted by locals. Hania, the third child, who is 4 years old, was rescued alive, and some juice packets were also found there.

Nasir’s wife left the house after being abused by Nasir in the past, according to the police and locals, who also claimed that Nasir had a mental illness. A forensic science agency team gathered evidence from the crime scene, according to a spokesman for the Gujrat police, while the police shifted bodies to the Kharian Tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsies.
