One injured, three cars damaged in grenade attacks

GWADAR: One person was injured and three cars were damaged in two grenade attacks in Gwadar and Quetta on Sunday evening.

Police said unknown motorcyclists hurled a grenade at one Nawaz Dashti in Faqir Colony, Gwadar, which exploded close to a car. The car was damaged, but no one was injured.

The second incident took place in Brewery road crossing where unknown motorcyclists hurled grenades at a security check-post, injuring a man traveling in a car.

Police said two cars passing through the area were damaged in the explosion. Soon after the blast, police rushed to the site and started an investigation. The injured was taken to Civil Hospital.
