RAWALPINDI: The Central Committee of Pakistan People’s Party today [Oct 29] hailed the Constitutional Accord and declared that the Party would abide by it in letter and spirit. President Bhutto, Chairman of the PPP, presided over the meeting which lasted from 10.a.m. to 4-20 p.m. … The Committee expelled Mr. Ahmad Raza Kasuri, MNA, from the Party with immediate effect for his “persistently antiparty conduct” and his “subversive” role of a “rebel” assumed by him in collusion with the Yahya regime against the Party. It decided that in the case of Mr. Abdul Hamid Jatoi, also charged with flagrant violation of Party discipline, the Secretary-General would announce the Committee’s decision in due course. — News agencies
