PESHAWAR: Four suspected terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire with security forces in North Waziristan tribal district on Friday.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media affairs wing, said in a statement that the encounter took place in the Spinwam area.

During the intense gunfight four terrorists were killed, it said, adding that weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.

According to the ISPR statement, those killed rema­ined actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.
