DADU: Three people drowned in stagnant floodwaters and a boy died from snakebite in separate incidents in Bhan Syedabad, K.N. Shah and Mehar towns on Thursday.

Two-year-old Hassan Raza, son of Khandan Panhwar, drowned in floodwater standing in front of the house at the village of Jadani Panhwar near Bhan Syedabad town.

Villagers fished out the body of an irrigation employee, Hidyatullah Katohar, at a cut near LS bund at Karampur.

An unidentified body was found in floodwater at the village of Gozo near KN Shah. Local people fished out the body.

In Madina Colony, Lal Bux Chandio while in KN Shah town, Ghulam Sarwar Bughio died of malaria.

Six-year-old Sajad Kunharo died from snakebite in the village of Sanghar in KN Shah. Dr Ayoob Memon, focal person of the DHO office Dadu, said that death toll reached 35 due to diseases in Dadu district since Aug 27.
