TAXILA: A man was booked for allegedly raping his teenage daughter in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar police station on Wednesday.

The victim’s mother reported to police that her husband raped her 14-year-old daughter when she was not at home.

After medical examination of the victim, the police confirmed that she was raped. A case was registered against the suspect and a hunt was launched to arrest him.

Moreover, Taxila police booked two persons for threatening two female teachers on Wednesday.

Sherbaz Khan reported to police that his two daughters who are working as teachers at a private school were coming back home after performing their duties when two men blocked their way and hurled life threats at them and also threw acid on them for refusing their friendship proposal.

Separately, Fatehjang police booked and arrested a man for threatening and holding his wife hostage at gunpoint.

The woman reported to police that her husband subjected her to severe torture over domestic issues. On Wednesday, he took out his pistol and threatened to kill her.

However, she managed to escape and reported the matter to the police. Subsequently, police raided his house and sent him behind bars after registration of a case.
