NAROWAL: Chief Minister Parvez Elahi says former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will be arrested whenever he returns from abroad.

Speaking at a private university in Sialkot on Saturday, he said the federal government had ignored Punjab in the distribution of foreign aid meant for flood victims.

Parvez Elahi said the Sharif family and the PDM had damaged country’s economy due to their greed for grabbing power. He claimed Imran Khan was an honest leader.

He said Shehbaz Sharif had not done even a single sustainable project during his tenure as the Punjab CM whereas “Allah Almighty has blessed me with the headship of Punjab.”

The chief minister said 100,000 jobs would be provided to the youth in police, local government and other departments. He also promised funds for different projects in Sialkot.
