KARACHI: SC admits appeal

KARACHI, Dec 22: A Supreme Court comprising Justices Rana Bhagwandas, Hamid Ali Mirza and Saiyed Saeed Ashhad on Thursday admitted an accused in Naya Daur Motors case to bail. Noor Qadir Tawakkal is facing trial, with other directors of the Tawakkal Group, in an accountability court of Karachi for a bank loan default amounting to Rs 571 million. The bail is subject to furnishing of a solvent surety in a sum of Rs 10 million.
