JUI-F lawmaker injured in road accident

CHAGAI: JUI-F MPA Mir Zabid Ali Reki, his friend and security guard were injured after their vehicle collided with an oil tanker on RCD highway near Nokkundi on Tuesday.

According to official sources, the injured were taken to Frontier Corps’ hospital in Nokkundi, but were shifted to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin where Mr Reki was operated upon for his abdominal injuries.

Dalbandin assistant commissioner Abdul Basit Buzdar told Dawn that Mr Reki was later airlifted to Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi via air ambulance for further treatment.

He said the other two injured were sent to a hospital in Quetta.
