How to become a writer in school

This is regarding the cover article, “How to become a writer in school” by Ambreen Arshad (YW, September 3). It was an informative article indeed.

Ms Ambreen has rightly pointed out that students at school must develop writing skills as it will help them not only during their studies, but also in their professional lives once they enter college or the university.

She advises readers to pursue a habit of reading, make a notebook to write down words, phrases and sentences that they want to use in their writing; learn grammar; conduct research, and understand how to edit articles.

This article will surely help aspiring writers develop an effective writing style.

Physics, it’s all around us!

This is with reference to the article “Physics, it’s all around us!” by M. Shaheer Ghaznavi (YW, August 20). It was a brilliant article as it assisted many kids like myself, on how to learn different techniques of understanding physics, especially if we don’t like the subject at all.

Like me, there are many kids out there who literally cringe away from certain subjects that they find boring as well as difficult. I think finding interesting points and looking at it from a different angle helps to develop interest even in the most boring subjects.

I appreciate the writer for writing on this subject.

Also, it is my suggestion to the YW team to publish more articles on various other subjects that kids think difficult or boring.

There are various subjects that we don’t like at all, but seeing the subject from a different angle and finding interesting things in it, make our educational journey not only easy but full of fun. And this was rightly highlighted in the article, “Physics, it’s all around us!” by M. Shaheer Ghaznavi.

The article was worth reading.

I always took physic as a boring subject, but the way the writer highlighted some points, it literally made me realise how interesting the subject could be. No doubt, physics is one the toughest subjects in academics and many topics in it cannot be understood by common people easily.

To grasp various concept of physics easily, we must observe our surrounding and understand how things work and how physics is involved in all the activities that we are doing. I am really grateful to the team of Young World for publishing brilliant pieces like this one.
