LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtain Khan has changed the date for the next sitting of the house from Sept 28 to Sept 19 (Monday).

A press release issued from the office of the speaker on Friday said that using his powers under Section 25-B of Rules of Business of the Punjab Assembly, the chair changed the date for the sitting on a demand by the ruling PTI lawmakers who wished to discuss the rising inflation on the floor of the house. It said the house would also devise a future line of action on the price hike.
