Women’s Asia Cup from Dec 27

KARACHI, Dec 20: Women’s Asia Cup cricket tournament will be Played at National Stadium and Karachi Gymkhana from Dec 27 to Jan 4, a spokesman for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Tuesday.

Three teams, India, Sri Lanka and hosts Pakistan will be appearing in the eight-day competition. Bangladesh will not be taking part in the event.

The championship will be played on double round robin league basis and two top teams will qualify for the final to be played on Jan 4.

The matches of the tournament will be supervised by panel of Test, International and first class umpires.

Dec 26: arrival of teams

Dec 28: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka at NSK (Umpires Saleem Badar & Mian Aslam) Referee Azhar Khan.

Dec 29: India vs Sri Lanka at Karachi Gymkhana (Umpires Mian Aslam & Shakeel Khan, Referee Azhar Khan)

Dec 30: Pakistan vs India at NSK (Umpires Shakeel Khan & Islam Khan, Referee Azhar Khan)

Dec 31: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka at NSK (Umpires Javed Ashraf/Riazuddin Referee Azhar Khan

Jan 1: India vs Sri Lanka at Karachi Gymkhana (Umpires Iftikhar Malik /Siddiq Khan. Referee Anwar Khan)

Jan 2: Pakistan vs India at NSK (Umpires Iftikhar Malik/Siddiq Khan Anwar Khan).

Jan 3: rest day
