Rubina to head PFF Women’s Wing

LAHORE, Dec 17: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has appointed Robina Irfan as chairperson of PFF Women’s Committee. It was decided in PFF General Council Meeting (GCM) held on Saturday.

Rubina, also president of Balochistan Women’s Football Association, played a major role in the development of soccer in Balochistan and due to her efforts the girls from far-flung areas of the province joined the Balochistan team.

PFF also decided to give Rs100,000 to the family of ex-skipper of Pakistan Muhammad Omar while same amount will be given to Zeshan Rehman who had taken nothing from PFF during his visits to Bahrain and Pakistan from England. —BoC
