HARIPUR, Dec 16: The judicial magistrate Haripur on Friday arrested 11 senior officials of different food manufacturing industries of Hattar Industrial Estate for violating food laws and spreading infection by not maintaining cleanliness.

The magistrate also registered cases against General Manager and two production managers of Shezan Food Industry Hattar for causing obstruction in discharge of duty by the visiting magistrate and other officials of Food and police department.

Civil judge 1st judicial magistrate Syed Kamal Shah had during surprise visit to different, oil, food and beverages manufacturing industries of Hattar Estate found the manufacturing process of these factories in violation of food laws and their products as noxious and source of spreading infection.

The magistrate ordered registration of cases against 11 senior level managers of factories and their arrest on the spot.
