3 killed in Peshawar suburbs

PESHAWAR, Dec 14: Three persons were killed in different incidents in suburbs of the city on Wednesday, police officials said. Fazle Amin, a resident of Sardar Ghari, told Faqirabad police that his brother Khan Mohammad was killed by some people who had climbed over the wall of their house and opened fire. At the time, he said, he and his brother were sleeping along with their family members in their house.

In a similar incident reported to the Daudzai police, Taj Wali, son of Shamroz, of Shaghali Payan, said police that his uncle, Wasil, had been killed after their rivals, Pervez, Amin and their accomplices, opened fire on them. He said Amin, his brother, had also been injured. The incident, he said, occurred on the Kacha Sarak in the Wazir Qala area as they were returning in their car from the Dher village.

Both were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital, where Wasil succumbed to his injuries. Taj Wali said that he had an enmity with the accused over a piece of land.

In another incident, a resident of Gulbela village was killed by unknown persons in the Zagai village in Mathra on Wednesday. Altaf Gul, son of Said Gul, told the police that his son Bakhat Taj made a call on Tuesday and informed him that he was going with his friend Said Noor to Warsak area near Mohmand Agency.
