TAXILA: A man was sentenced to death by a local court in a murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge Mirza Shahid Baig sentenced Abdul Hakeem for killing a man on May 4, 2021 besides imposing a fine of Rs500,000 on him.

During proceedings, the prosecution had contended that substantial evidence was available on record which established involvement of Hakeem in the cold blooded murder of the victim.

Meanwhile, Attock police arrested five people and recovered drugs from their possession.
