PROTEST: Scores of people belonging to gypsy families blocked Faisalabad-Multan Road at Pirmahal on Tuesday night to protest against policemen who injured a woman.

They made the injured woman sit at the intersection and threw traffic out of gear on Kamalia Bypass Road.

They said police first picked up two men from their area near B Block without any reason and then tortured some gypsies who were protesting against the illegal action. They said a woman was severely wounded.

Meanwhile, the district police spokesperson claimed that Dolphin Squad took two suspects Yasir Iqbal of B Block and Abdul Jabbar of Chak 315-JB into custody.

The gypsies attacked them to free the men and a woman was injured during the scuffle.
