DERA GHAZI KHAN: An anti-corruption court has granted interim bail to former chief minister Usman Buzdar in a land fraud case registered by the Anti-Corruption Establishment on June 18.

Buzdar appeared before the court to seek interim bail after the expiry of protective bail granted by the Lahore High Court, Bahawalpur Bench, till June 30.

The court granted interim bail to him till July 16 in the case of illegal allotment of 474 kanals and 12 marlas.

Two cases have been registered against 13 people including Buzdar and his brothers on the charge of fraudulent allotment of chunks of land.
