RAWALPINDI: A transgender person died after being stabbed in the jurisdiction of Race Course police.

Rashid Haleem, nephew of Amir Masih (the victim), resident of Misryal Road lodged a first information report (FIR) with police saying that he received a phone call from someone who informed him that his uncle (Amir) had been murdered.

He said he along with his father and brother went to the apartment where Ishfaq Masih informed them that Amir was stabbed and then pushed by two people during an argument about a cooler. The argument happened because two people accused Amir of damaging their cooler.

The body was shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for postmortem and later handed over to his family.The suspects are yet to be arrested.
