ABBOTTABAD: The newly-elected mayor and chairmen of tehsil councils took oath of their respective offices here on Monday.

Regional election commissioner and district returning officer Uzair Bahadur administered the oath of offices to Abbottabad tehsil mayor Sardar Shuja Nabi, chairman of the Sherwan tehsil council Junaid Tanoli, chairman of the Havelian tehsil council Atif Munsif and chairman of the Lora tehsil council Iftikhar Abbasi.

MNAs Ali Khan Jadoon and Uzma Riaz, MPA Qalandar Khan Lodhi, deputy commissioner Tariq Salam Marwat, district police officer Sajjad Khan, PTI leader Ali Asghar Khan and returning officer Zeeshan Khan attended the oath-taking ceremony.
