Man kills daughter-in-law and relative

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 11: A man shot dead his daughter-in-law and injured his son and wife in Achukhel village on Sunday, following a domestic dispute. Later the man also gunned down a distant relative.

The accused, Yousaf Khan, opened fire on his family members, killing the daughter-in-law Shamim Bibi, wife of Hamidullah.

Yousaf’s son Hamidullah and wife Begum Jana suffered injuries.

A police official quoting

the preliminary report lodged by the injured son said the man had murdered Shamim Bibi and injured him and Begum Jana.

He told police that when a distant relative, Asmatullah, a taxi driver, came to move the injured to hospital, the accused returned to the place and shot him dead.

The motive behind the killing was stated to be a domestic dispute.
