Two killed, 10 injured in accidents

SUKKUR, Dec 11: Two people were killed and 10 others injured in road accidents near Sangi and at the Sukkur bypass on Sunday. Three persons, Hafiz Hamadullah, Rana Imran and Farman Ali, were going to Peshawar from Karachi when the tie-rod of their car broke down near Sangi and the car fell into a nearby canal.

As a result, Hamadullah, 29, and Imran, 26, died on the spot, while Farman was injured and taken to the Pano Akil taluka hospital.

In the other accident, six vehicles, including two cars, a police mobile, a passenger bus and two trucks, collided on the Sukkur bypass.

As a result, nine persons were injured. They are: Besham Lal, Sham Lal, Teekam Das, Sarwar Mahar, Mehmood, Ellahi Bux, Faheem, Abdul Rauf and Shamsuddin.
